It’s been long established that consumers are more willing to buy a product when more information is available. A new study in the Journal of Consumer Research confirms that consumers choose products with more technical specifications offered.

Sony CyberShotIn a series of five studies asking participants to choose between two kinds of products ranging from digital cameras and cell phones to towels and potato chips, study participants across the board chose the product with the most specifications.

They did so even when the specifications offered little to no additional information. All that detail, though, didn’t have an effect on the product experience after purchase, so while offering more information seems to directly influence buying, a merchant in business for the long term will have to back up his products.

The results make sense under various theoretical frameworks, especially Uncertainty Reduction Theory. Under this framework, consumers (and people in general) continuously seek information to assuage their anxieties, solidify beliefs, and justify their decisions.

For web marketers, the implications are pretty straightforward: The more information you offer a perspective customer, the more likely that customer will buy from you over the competition.

Google put out a nice holiday checklist at the Webmaster Central blog to help Web marketers prepare for the holiday season. Given that the season is nearly over, if you haven’t already done these things, try to remember them for next year.

Well, one supposes this is good advice for those that do business year round, which is everybody, right? To follow are some of the better suggestions:

1. Verify your site is indexed and returned by Google with the right snippet and page title. Cut down or eliminate on duplicate titles and meta descriptions.

2. Label your images. Nobody likes (and some distrust) images with only the generic number tag as a description (i.e., 001.jpg). Use alt tags to label your images so that when they show up in Google Images, the text matches the picture. It helps Google identify the images, too.

3. If you have a brick-and-mortar location, double check and claim your business listing in Google Local.

4. Make sure your site is compatible with all the different browsers out there.

5. If Google returns Sitelinks for your site, give those a quick review, ensure the destination pages are functional or remove unwanted sitelinks through Webmaster Tools.

If you have a web-based business or if a significant portion of your business is performed on the internet through your website, then the best advertising and marketing is completed by submitting your website to a search engine.

No amount of press releases, newspaper or radio ads, banner ads, spam emails or newsletters will achieve the same results, although it may be effective in a small proportion.

Beware of companies that promise an automatic submission of your website to hundreds of search engines which are most times nothing more than false promises. The best way to submit your website for search engine ranking and inclusion is to do it yourself or to hire an expert to do it manually, by contacting the search engine companies and directories.

As with many things, researching or getting referrals from other companies that have had great success with an SEO company is always the safest way to ensure that your website is going to be in genuinely caring hands. There are so many websites on the internet trying to make a quick buck by any means necessary.

Business dealings with the wrong types of people can be very cut-throat if you're not careful in considering and researching where you decide to go in finding your marketing partners for life.

Before you begin to submit your website to search engines, it is best to ensure that your websites are thoroughly designed to a professional quality using the right key words, good graphics and pictures and appropriate, relevant content. Don't submit websites that are incomplete.

While submitting to a search engine, make sure to provide information about your website, keywords and any other information that may be pertinent, including the name and contact information of your business.

The creation and growing life of your website in the infancy stages are always going to come with many great challenges. But once you have overcome those challenges and beaten the odds, you will most likely be able to repeat this pattern over and over if you wanted to do so.

You could also decide to become a consultant and help others to become better with their dealings online. They could learn from your mistakes and discoveries just as you had with your wonderful mentors.

Mere submissions alone to search engine companies will not guarantee that your site would be immediately listed and the ranking will be at the very top. Because there are thousands of new websites coming up every day and it may take quite some time before they take up your site for review by human editors.

One important factor to remember while submitting your website is to include a site map of your website which makes the crawling easy for the web robots. Search engines like Google hardly consider submissions without sitemaps.

It just makes sense to do everything that you can think of to make the robot's job in crawling your website as easy as it can possibly be from your end. It can also be referred to as optimizing your website to just flow very smoothly without hardly any interruption at all from the search engine programs that hit all kinds of dead ends and errors as people place businesses online.

There are many online companies that accept search engine submission services. You can choose to do it yourself with software packages available all over on the internet.

The best way, as with anything, is to get to know your prospective source of help and information as much as you can. Over some time this will develop in your mind as a trustworthy source that you can always depend on for a very long time, you hope.

You will hear from many users online that you should stay as far away as you can get from these automatic submission companies. This is very much the case in most of what you may stumble onto online.

I repeat that there are a few good, solid and dependable companies that you can find by knowing the right people and being associated with a good network of business minded people.

Recently, during a live chat Q&A, Googlers Matt Cutts and Maile Ohye, among others, faced the burning questions of webmasters around the world. Together, they put to rest some fears and myths, and confirmed some speculations.
Google Answers Some Tricky Questions
Below are the meatier results, with the straightest answers given first, followed by responses that were a bit on the ambiguous side, which we took the liberty of translating. Did you know there are about 200 factors that go into determining a site’s ranking in the search results? How about that Google made 450 tweaks to its algorithm last year?

Only one question during that session received conflicting answers from Googlers and wasn’t reconciled: Does the age of a website/domain affect its ranking?

Ohye answered this way: a site's reputation can be a indicator to search engines, but of course, it's not everything. Having a site for a long period of time can establish credibility with users, and as a search engine we also want to reflect this type of credibility. Of course, newer domains can also gain users and credibility. It seems like running a good site is a bit like running a reputable business. So yes, if your domain has been credible for years it can help. If you buy an old domain and put all your content on it in hopes of getting instant rankings, that's not the best idea.

But, when the question was rephrased from another webmaster, Cutts answered: In the majority of cases, it actually doesn't matter--we want to return the best information, not just the oldest information. Especially if you're a mom/pop site, we try to find ways to rank your site even if your site is newer or doesn't have many links. I think it is fair for Google to use that as a signal in some circumstances, and I try never to rule a signal out completely, but I wouldn't obsess about it.

Official translation: Sometimes, when we say it does.

Google Answers Some Tricky Questions

GOOGLE STRAIGHT TALK

Do 301 redirects carry over PageRank?

Where appropriate, ranking signals will be transferred across 301 redirects (if the same page has moved from one URL to another). This may take some time, so you should probably leave the redirect in place as long as you have control over the URL.

How many 301 redirects are acceptable?

It's ok to chain a few together. The HTTP 1.0 standard allows for a maximum of 5 redirects for a URL, so keep it minimal.

Why do pages translated into different languages each have different rankings in their respective engines?

Google looks at content on a URL-by-URL basis, so even if you have translated top content from one language to another, Google might not treat it the same way as they would treat the original content. It's also possible that the translated content is not as relevant as other original content in that language. Generally speaking, making sure that your content is as unique and compelling as possible for the users in that target market is the best thing to do.

Do backlinks from bad sites negatively affect my PageRank?

Those links might be positively affecting your PageRank (PageRank does not go down from "bad" links like those from adult sites). In general, you don't have to worry about bad links like that which point to your site that aren't under your control.

How often does your search algorithm change?

We change the algorithms all the time - last year we had over 450 changes.

Could sharing an IP address with a bad site get my site penalized?

The situations where it would matter are when the server is overloaded (can't respond to your visitors) and when it's incorrectly configured (not returning your site to your visitors). But otherwise that is no longer a concern.

Does Google have a problem with rank-checking software?

Rank-checking software is against Google’s Terms of Service and could result in blocking your IP address, and it doesn’t really help, especially when it comes to personalized or geotargeted results.

CIRCUITOUS ROUTES AND TRANSLATIONS

Question: Is there PageRank boost from .edu or .gov links?

Google’s Answer: You don't get any PageRank boost from having an .edu link or .gov link automatically. If you get an .edu link and no one is linking to that .edu page, you're not going to get any PageRank at all because that .edu page doesn't have any PageRank.

Translation: If the .edu or .gov page is linked to, then yes, because that webpage now has some authority, just like with any (non-.gov or .edu) page.

Question: Does a page load time play a crucial role in Google Page Ranking? If yes how important is it?

Google’s Answer: I think the more important issue here is user experience. If your site loads fast, your users will be happy; if it loads slow, users will be less happy. Make your users happy, right?

Translation: Yes, and as important as 200 other factors.

Question: Aaron D'Souza of the Search Quality team was reported as stating that publishing the same content on two separate geotargeted paths under your domain will not trigger the dupe content filters. Is this correct?

Google’s Answer: In general, in a case like that, we'd try to pick the best page based on various factors, including geotargeting and language choices. If that page is one which is also available for other geotargeting/language choices, we will generally try to pick the version that our algorithms feel makes the most sense.

Translation: Yes, we think.

Question: I have reported sites that clearly have paid links (e.g. the backlink page says "Advertising" above the link), but Google does not seem to take action. Why would that be the case? These are .orgs who are clearly selling their .org juice.

Google’s Answer: While paid links and spam reports are being taken very seriously by Google, the results may not be seen immediately for users or even not at all. This does not mean no action is being taken on the offending sites. Also, the TLD of the sites should not be a factor being taken into account. For this reason reporting both, web spam and PageRank passing link selling makes sense and contributes in an important way to the quality of Google's index.

Translation, partly based on .gov/.edu response: Google treats all top level domains the same, so a .org would have no more juice than a .com or .info. Further, clearly marked paid links (ones on pages labeled “Advertising”) are not necessarily violations of Google’s guidelines. If the links you reported were found to be nofollow links, then no action would be necessary. But keep trying to sabotage the competition. Business is war.

Question: Is it true that the fewer the links FROM your website, the more influence they have on the sites receiving those links?

Google’s Answer: PageRank is split up over the links from a page, but I would recommend not concentrating on this (as you won't be able to "measure" and act upon it anyway) and instead making your site as usable as possible for your visitors.

Translation: Yes, the more you link the more the link juice passed on is diluted, but don’t go trying to figure out the formula in order to game the system. We’ll figure you out. We’re Google.

Question: Does getting a lot of comments in a blog help in being well indexed/ranked by Google?

Google’s answer: Having a lot of enthusiastic users commenting on your posts and doing so generating content on your site, certainly does not harm your rankings :-) Furthermore, a large fan base gives the webmaster a bit of independence from search engine traffic, which is the reason why generating original and compelling content in order to nurture a group of committed users is something I would highly recommend to any blogger

Translation: Yes.

Question: Recently, you removed this suggestion: "Submit your site to relevant directories such as the Open Directory Project and Yahoo!" from your guidelines. Is there any chance that you will be discounting these kinds of links for ranking value in future?

Google’s Answer: There's always the chance that we'll discount directory links in the future. What we were seeing was quite a few novice people would see the "directory" recommendation and go out and just try to submit to a ton of directories, even if some of the directories were lower-quality or even fly-by-night directories that weren't great for users. Right now we haven't changed how we're weighting directory links--we've only removed the directory suggestion from the webmaster guidelines.

Translation: Possibly.

Question: Until recentley (the last six months or so) a high ranking was achievable by submitting articles to article directories (providing they were 40%-60% unique), it no longer seems to be the case. Have links from article sites been de-valued at all?

Google’s Answer: In my experience, not every article directory site is high-quality. Sometimes you see a ton of articles copied all over the place, and it's hard to even find original content on the site. The user experience for a lot of those article directory sites can be pretty bad too. So you'd see users landing on those sorts of pages have a bad experience. If you're thinking of boosting your reputation and getting to be well-known, I might not start as the very first thing with an article directory. Sometimes it's nice to get to be known a little better before jumping in and submitting a ton of articles as the first thing.

Translation: Yes.

Out in Las Vegas at PubCon, Mike McDonald of WebProNews spoke with Eric Enge, who was one of the speakers at the session entitled "Real-World Low-Risk, High-Reward Link Building Strategies." You might be familiar with Enge. He's been a WebProNews blog partner for some time. He's the StoneTemple Consulting guy, and he's developed a reputation over the years as a reputable source for information about link building. In fact, that's one of StoneTemple's areas of expertise, along with SEO site evaluation, social media marketing, blog implementation, PPC, web analytics, and local SEO among other things.
At this session, Enge talked about how companies should "Think Big" in order to get the most out of their link building strategies through social media. Mike caught up with him and talked about this subject a little bit more outside of the session.

Other link building advice Enge discussed at the session included:

- Studying what has worked before
- Writing compelling articles
- Write an interesting description
- Voting for posts in front of you on the upcoming pages
- Making sure you stand out!

You can find more coverage on that session here. Watch the video above to see what Enge has to say about thinking big, and how to apply link building strategies through social media when you are a small business.

I have joined a couple of affiliate marketing networks. It is quite a competition between the different networks because we have to determine which network we would want to focus on. It is not easy to focus on too many networks, especially when we are still building our traffic and an opt-in list. Having to join too many networks can mean one very simple thing - Too little money made on each network which results in determining when we can hit the minimum amount to get back our money for another round of re-investment.

Click2Sell Affiliate Network

In today’s review, I am feeling very honoured to review an affiliate marketing network. This website being reviewed is known as Click2Sell. I must say that it is not easy to set up such a network because you will need to go out to look for interested sellers who are willing to give out commissions which are profitable enough to the affiliates who set up all the meaningful websites in the Internet. And their job is probably to keep looking out for sellers and affiliates as many as they can in order to stay strong in the market.

As Internet marketer, you would probably need to start your own affiliate program to hire an army of interested affiliates to sell for you. When you are getting bored building contents and selling other people’s products, you would probably invest some money to build a product of your own. Having a product of your own, you cannot simply sell on your own in the website. You need many websites who are willing to sell on your behalf. Many people called those websites as “resellers”. We call them “affiliates”. We wanted to be affiliated with the product that we are building our contents against.

Marketplace

Ok, let’s take a look at their marketplace. To my surprise, some of the things that they are selling are really getting me interested to be affiliated with. I would say that most of the products are related to Make-Money-Online topic. Software are using familiar names such as “Ad Rotator”, “Blog Link Generator”, “Forum Submitter Pro”, “Simple Sales Copy” and “PPC Profit Generator”. They are the type of software which most of the make-money-online blogs would want to be affiliated with. They also have Internet Services such as “Email Master Pro” and “Ultimate Autoresonder Pro”. All of them look pretty good to catch up and sell on our websites.

Comparison Chart

When we take a good look at the comparison chart, we can see how much difference they are when compared competitively. They basically can sell both digital and material products which are not easily done by most of the other affiliate marketing networks. Most important of all, we are able to handle the refunds which are usually done automatically. Some of the refunds actually need some human interaction to understand further about their needs. In other words, we can still salvage the situation as much as we can. Also, they are able to handle a lot of preferential payment gateways out there. Some of us may want to use Worldpay instead of PayPal. It all really depends, though we don’t have to complicate our transactions too much. As for me, I would prefer to use PayPal since it is my “Internet bank” to deposit and withdraw money from.

I took the initiative and sign up for an account to test drive their website. When I log in, it immediately brings me to the General Report of showing me how much money I am making. They have quite a comprehensive group of links to manipulate the reports. Reports such as Refunds, Referral, Transactions, Conversion Rates, and keywords of search engines referring your products. Just a look at them through, they have quite an interesting report to browse and analyse. They also have a “Payment” section to show you all the incoming and outgoing payment settlements.

I can choose to be an affiliate to sell other people’s products, or as a merchant to sell my own products. Things start to get more exciting actually. So as a merchant, I can add my products. I can approve and disapprove my affiliates to my products, I can also manage my orders and subscriptions. And as an affiliate, I can manage my compaigns after joining as an affiliate to some of the products I am interested in.

You may also want to promote Click2Sell itself and make some money out of it. It is a product by itself for sure since it is handling a lot of money in between the affiliates and merchants.

Support

Lastly, it’s their support section which consists of quite a few things. While all efforts are made to ensure the programs are running properly, I would say their support section is also well done with forum, help desk, FAQ and User Guides. And if all else fails, you may want to use their contact form at least.

I was googling Click2Sell in search engine just now. And found that they probably have quite a good online reputation. While they have quite a good number of backlinks to their website right now, there are quite a reasonable number of people who are all recommending Click2Sell to people who are looking for affiliate program to sell their products. While it is quite new to me, I would probably want to give it a try myself since I have gotten myself an account with them.

For those of you that don’t know what entrecard is, you can go to any mmo blog and I am sure that you will see an entrecard widget somewhere, i already have it ! :D and i must say i earned some money online

I am glad that I never invested any time or space into this whole thing. But alot of big people did, and because of that if you bought this site you sure as hell would have alot of good will along with it.

The only downside I can see with this is that because the owner had built up some very nice relationships with the likes of people like shoemoney and John Chow, I can actually see the viral effect of this website and the subsequent goodwill taking a hit from the sale.

With a site so large and a brand name so large I am surprised that a private sale could not take place and instead it has to be sold on the sitepoint marketplace?

Straight from the auction page on why I am selling:

Why am I selling:

Entrecard holds a very special place in my heart. The vision for the company is enormous: aggregating all the advertising inventories across the long tail of the blogosphere, creating a virtual economy for the blogosphere at large, and providing them with a virtual currency that integrates with all other types of services via API.

I am selling because I have come to a stalemate. Entrecard is growing fast, but I do not have the resources to put behind it. I recently met extensively with Venture Capitalists who were going to make a 700k seed investment and a 2-5m follow on Series A investment in 6 months. The deal fell through in the 11th hour, right before the terms sheet, because they lost faith in my ability to execute the plan after a series of tests in which I did not know I was being tested. The valuation we were discussing was 8 million. We were going to open a headquarters, hire 10 people, and go straight to the top. Then it fell apart, and after getting my hopes up, I just haven’t been able to get back on my feet. I’m a wreck and feeling like a failure to come so close only to drop it due to my idiocy.

If you ever want to make a sale or close a deal, dont let the rest of the world know your failures or about people that have lost their faith in you.

* Remove the referral code from your site(s): Please take a moment to remove all referral code from your sites before the last week of August, so you can continue to effectively monetize yourad space.

* Run and save all referrals reports on your desktop: Createa nd save all reports related to the referrals program on your desktop, so you continue to have access to your valuable campaign information.

Do you know that craigslist.org has discussion forums that cover a wide range of topics and categories? These discussion forums can help you make money online. By participating to these forums, you will have the opportunity to market your business to your new Internet friends in Craigslist. It will be even better if many of these Internet friends are living in the same area with you. There is a good chance they will become your business partners and buyers as well as your online friends.

How do you make money while socializing in Craigslist? People are more likely to purchase from someone they know or they can trust. So by getting into the online community of Craigslist.org and actively participate in discussion, a lot of the community members will know about you and this is pretty helpful for increasing your online business sale.

For instance, let's say that you run a book store and you want to have more customers. You post a business ad on Craigslist.org to let people know about a promotional offer that you have started i.e.10% discount on for all purchases more than $50. Then you begin to socialize on the Craigslist.org forums. You talk with this one and that. As you communicate with more and more Craigslist.org users and let them know about your Craigslist.org ad. Tell everyone that if they visit your ad and get the coupon, they will entitle the discount. The more people you can send to your Craigslist ad the more sales you may bring in. Also, ask them to vote for you in the best of Craigslist.org. All that your ad viewers have to do to vote you is click on the link ‘best of Craigslist.org’ in your ad page.

You will be able to expand your customer base by marketing your ad and your business on the general community of Craigslist. All the posting on Craigslist will cost you nothing except the ad posting on job board section.

So, how you can join Craigslist.org? Just like joining any other membership site, you first click on the join option, fill out your valid email address and then you will need to key in the scrambles letters at the bottom of the page so that the system can confirm you are real human and not some kind of robot signing up in Craigslist.

Apart from the book store example mentioned above; what other types of businesses can take the advantage of socializing and generate revenue through Craigslist.org? Well, almost any business can take the advantage of socializing. The most important thing you have to keep in mind is that the forums and discussion you are participating that are relevant to you business. If you are selling jewelry, then you should participate in jewelry group. If you are a writer providing content to web publishers and bloggers, then the writer group is perfect for you. It all depends on what your business is offering and what you plan to achieve through Craigslist socializing.

Socializing and earning money on Cragislist.org should not be limited to one another. You can also try to participate in as many groups as you possible, especially online groups. Online groups can be visited when the mood strikes you and there is a lot less involved.

Here is a link to access two videos that show you an affiliate marketing method that has been used by a college student to make $6,643 Clickbank affiliate commission the first day he used it.

http://myacspage.com/players/video

The method has nothing to do with list building and online advertising. It is about using Google to send free and organic targeted buyers to different webpages of a site that promote popular Clickbank information products. I know getting a website ranked top in Google and receive free targeted traffic isn't something new. But have seen a website that can have several web pages rank top at the same time for different keywords in Google which generate affiliate sales commission?

This is what the videos is going to show you and they will provide you a creative link building technique which involves article marketing, Web 2.0 marketing and e-books marketing to help you make that happen to your website as well.

It's surprisingly easy to kill your eBay business, if you're not careful - sure, you can start over from scratch without it costing you anything, but do you really want to? Still, if you want your business to end up dead in the water, here are some simple ways to do it.

Lie about an item: Say it works fine when it sometimes doesn't work. Say it's in perfect condition when it has a scratch. Your customers will hate you!

Post whenever you feel like it: Make sure to leave your customers hanging around, wondering when their item is going to turn up. This makes sure they buy from someone else next time.

Let items end anytime: Few people will be around to care about your auction if it ends in the middle of the night. Why go to the trouble of working out whether auctions will end at a good time?

Don't bother with email: Customers are just timewasters anyway. eBay businesses are supposed to run themselves! Never give informed responses to questions about your item.

Sell rubbish: Really, it's just eBay. You can just sell any old tat from the market for a 200% profit. Let quality be someone else's concern - I mean, really, what do they expect for that price?

Refuse to give discounts: You know what your items cost, you know what your profit margin is going to be, and you're not going to negotiate. Remember that giving customers special deals might make them feel good and come back to you again.

Make your listings ugly: As many colours, flashing lights and animations as possible will really give those customers a headache. Write as much in CAPITALS!!!! as you can. Preferably big, red capitals. Be sure to use the fonts Impact and Comic Sans. For an extra special touch, see if you can figure out a way to add some music.

Don't take photos: It's such trouble, after all. If buyers are picky enough to actually want to see items before they bid on them, then screw 'em, that's what I say.

Write short descriptions: Be as brief as possible, and use lots of mysterious abbreviations. This obviously makes you look very cool. You can even just write the title again in the description box. Think of the effort you'll save!

Use reserve auctions: Now, this is a fairly controversial final choice, but it really is one of the best ways to scare away your customers. They'll see 'reserve not yet met', and click that 'back' button before you know it. Luckily, they can always bid in a normal auction for the item somewhere else.

Now that you know the ten ways to kill your eBay business, how about we explore what to do if you want to do the opposite, and make a success of it?

Pay per click ads have been widely used in the internet marketing world and they are probably the most used types of Internet advertising among online marketers. It is one of the effective methods for driving a lot of targeted traffic to websites and producing good return on investment (ROI) for many Internet businesses.

Today, the very popular social networking site, Facebook.com also offers Facebook Ads. It is a pay per click advertisement that any Facebook users can try. If you want to use the Facebook Ads to increase your website traffic and revenue, the first thing you must know is how to create an appealing Facebook Ads that will attract people to click on it.

A good Facebook PPC advertisement is the one that will be able to grab people's attention and to achieve that you will have to create something catchy and flashy in your ad. You must remember that people will only click on Internet ads that truly catch their attention.

Also, you have to remember that when people login to their Facebook account, most of them will be interested just in checking out what's new in their account or what's happening with their network of friends. They will always want to socialize with other Facebook users who have the similar interest.

Now, let’s talk about creating a PPC advertisement in Facebook Ads, your main task is to take away people's fixed intention (as mentioned above) when they visit Facebook or login to their profile and make them take some time to take a look at your Facebook PPC ad and click on it.

Creating a good pay per click advertisement on Facebook Ads isn’t difficult. You just need some creativity. For instance: If you are trying to market your Nokia cell phones or any kind of electronic items that people would definitely love to have, you might want to try advertising "Want an Nokia Cell Phone at a Cheap Price?".

For this type of example, you may need to spend some time to identify your target customers. For electronic products, the target customers will be those people in college or people between the ages of 18 to 25. You must remember that youngsters today love to buy cheap and cool electronic products.

You can also add a picture of the cell phone to attract more potential customers to view your ad. Visual advertising (ads with photo and graphic) will definitely more effective in catching people's attention compared with the traditional Internet text advertising.

Besides, you should have a strong selling point. Don't just tell people to find out your offer, you should give them a good reason why they should check out what you have to offer. You need to study your target customers and do some researches find out what they need and what they really want.

These are just some of the things that you need to know about advertising in Facebook. By keeping these tips in mind and applying them when your are starting a Facebook Ads campaign, you will find that they will help you a lot in creating a successful Facebook marketing campaign that will increase your online business exposure and generate more sales for you.

Google Ad Manager

Few days ago, Google launched a new tool called Google Ad Manager to help website publishers manage their direct ads selling more effective.

If you run a content based website or blog, probably your main source of online revenue will depend on selling ads directly to advertisers . Selling ads directly to advertisers does involve management work and sale process and when your ad space were fully sold out, some advertisers may request to reserve an ad space for them if there is an ad space becomes available in future. If you do all the things manually, it will be time consuming and can easily make a mistake. The Google Ad Manager is seem to be created specifically for helping you solve these problems.

It will help manage your direct ads selling more easier and effective; and most importantly provide fast service to your advertisers. The tool is right for you if you want to consistently make money online by selling ads.

Google Ad Manager

And the good news is, Google Ad Manager isn't just restricted to Google Adsense network only. You can choose to use any ad network you like.

Since there are already lots of people getting into affiliate marketing, it is no wonder that the competition is getting stiff. The challenge is to try and outdo other affiliates and think of ways to be able to attain this.

There are also many tips and techniques being taught to these affiliate in order to best plan their strategy for their program to work effectively so that more earnings will be achieved.

What better way to wow your prospects and customers than to record and publish top notch, full motion and streaming screen-captured videos. Nothing like feeling your hard work getting paid by having your customers jumping up excitedly in great anticipation to buy your product right there and then.

This is Camtasia in action. It is a proven fact; giving your customers something they can actually see can explode your online sales instantly.

You do not need to have trainings and education to be able to know how this system can work for your affiliate program. Anyone can create stunning videos, from multimedia tutorials and step-by-step presentations available online. The process is like having your customers seated next to you and looking at your desktop, as you show them the things they need to see and hear. All this done step by step.

For those who does not know it yet, how does Camtasia works?

1. It can record your desktop activity in a single click. No need to have to save and compile all your files because it is recorded right there and then.

2. Can easily convert your videos into web pages. Once converted you can have your customers visiting that certain page. Videos are easier to understand and take in unlike reading texts which oftentimes is a trying thing to do.

3. Upload your pages. Publish them through blogs, RSS feed and podcasts. You may want your Camtasis videos to get around and reach out to other people that may be potential customers in the future. Nothing like being visible in many sites and pages to advertise yourself and get your message through.

There are other things you can do with your affiliate program using Camtasia. You can…

Create stunning multimedia presentations that are proven to increase sales because all the senses are engaged. This also has the tendency to reduce skepticism among hard-to-please customers.

Reduce refunds and other customer issues by demonstrating visually how to use your product and how to do it properly. Complaints will also be minimized because all the facts and the presentation are there for the customers to just see and hear about.

Promote affiliate products and services using visual presentations. This is an effective way of redirecting your viewers straight to your affiliate website after they are finished with the video. Make the most of the presentation by putting your site location in the end and make them go there directly if they want more information.

Multiple your online auction bids exponentially when you give your readers a feel of what you have to offer. Based from reports, auctions that includes pictures increases bidding percentage by 400%. Imagine how much higher it will be if it were videos.

Publish valuable infoproducts that you can sell for a much higher price. It will be all worth the price because of the full colored graphics menu and templates that you will be using.

Minimize miscommunication with your customers. Instantly showing them what you want they wanted in the first place is making them understand clearly the essence of your affiliate program. The good thing about multimedia is, nothing much can go wrong. It is there already.

These are just some of the things you can do with Camtasia that can be very helpful in your chosen affiliate program.

Note that the main purpose of using Camtasia is to boost the income that is generated from your affiliate program. Although it can be used for entertainment and enjoyment purposes, which is not really a valid reason why you choose to get all through that trouble.

Try to focus on the goal that you have set upon yourself to and achieve that with the use of the things that may be quite a lot of help in increasing your earnings.

In affiliate marketing, there are many ways in which you can increase your earnings and maintain the account that you have worked so hard for already. Most of the techniques and tactics can be learned easily. No need to go anywhere and any further. They are available online, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
One of the more important ways of increasing affiliate marketing bottom line and sale is through the use of product recommendations. Many marketers know that this is one of the most effective ways in promoting a certain product.
If the customers or visitors trust you enough, then they will definitely trust your recommendations. Be very careful in using this approach, though. If you start promoting everything by recommendation, your credibility will actually wear thin. This is seen especially when recommendations are seemingly exaggerated and without much merit.
Do not be afraid to mention things that you do not like about a given product or service. Rather than lose any points for you, this will make your recommendation more realistic and will tend to increase your credibility.
Furthermore, if your /my visitors are really interested in what you are/me offering, they will be more than delighted to learn what is good about the product, what is not so good, and how the product will benefit them.
When you are recommending a certain product, there are some things to remember on how to make it work effectively and for your advantage.

Sound like the true and leading expert in your field.

Remember this simple equation: Price resistance diminishes in direct proportion to trust. If your visitors feel and believe that you are an expert in your niche, they are more inclined to making that purchase. On the other hand, if you are not exuding any confidence and self-assurance in endorsing your products, they will probably feel that same way and will go in search of another product or service which is more believable.
How do you establish this aura of expertise? By offering unique and new solutions they would not get anywhere else. Show proof that what you are promoting works as promised. Display prominent testimonials and endorsements from respected and known personalities, in related fields of course.

Avoid hype at all costs. It is better to sound low key and confident, than to scream and seek attention. Besides, you would not want to sound unprofessional and have that thinking stick to your potential customers and clients, now would you? Best to appear cool and self-assured at the same time.
And remember; prospects are not stupid. They are actually turning to experts and may already know the things that you know. If you back up your claims with hard facts and data, they would gladly put down hundreds, or even thousands worth of money to your promotions. But if you don’t, they are smart enough to try and look at your competitors and what they are offering.
While recommending a product, it is also important that you give out promotional freebies. People are already familiar with the concept of offering freebies to promoting your won products. But very few people do this to promote affiliate products. Try to offer freebies that can promote or even have some information about your products or services.
Before you add recommendations to you product, it is given that you should try and test the product and support. Do not run the risk of promoting junk products and services. Just think how long it took you to build credibility and trust among your visitors. All that will take to destroy it is one big mistake on your part.

If possible, have recommendations of products that you have 100% confidence in. Test the product support before you begin to ensure that the people you are referring it to would not be left high and dry when a problem suddenly arouse.
Have a look at your affiliate market and look at the strategies you are using. You may not be focusing on the recommendations that your products need to have. You plan of action is sometimes not the only thing that is making your program works.
Try product recommendation and be among those few who have proven its worth.
